Channels, after negotiating the surrender of the 25,500-man German garrison
on 9 May 1945. A few hours after Generalmajor Siegfried Heine (see profile)
surrendered the island of Guernsey, Generalmajor Wulf signed the surrender
of the island of Jersey aboard the British destroyer HMS Beagle
in St. Helier harbor.]

castles of Jersey.
The book was presented to Oberst Prahl in April 1945 on his posting
back to somewhere in Europe in memory of his stay in Festung Jersey.
